Would you be interested in coming to Trill farm to spend 4 days and three nights with on a camp facilitated by Chris Holland?
Aimed at families with Primary aged children (my son is 7), this would be a three night camp aimed at learning some basic bushcraft skills, making dens you can sleep in close to the campsite, light fires, learn whittling skills, playing nature connection games and getting to know each other over a few few days. Cooking over open fires or camping stoves you bring with you. I have a couple of bell tents that sleep 8 for hire too if you want one
18-21st May for families living in the SW only – (this may seem exclusive, but is more about regional community)
Price £110 per adult. £55 per child 5-16. Under 5s free. We will need 10 families for this camp to run and there are a maximum of 40 places.
Chris is an environmental educator, author, forager, man of the woods type… he has been leading camps for many years and ran the hugely successful Trill Farm Summer camp 2014. He is author of I love my world – a must have playful, hands on guide to nature connection.
The camp would include a morning and afternoon led session on activities like whittling, den building, problem solving, night games, storytelling and foraging, possibly high ropes course walking & raft making. There will be a chance to experience community too building by taking on playful “roles”.
Trill has hot showers, a camping barn that 40 people can sit and eat on tables at, acres of farm land to explore, natural cosmetic making on offer and lots more. Trill is in the Axe Valley in East Devon, only 5 miles from the sea.
The first evening meal would be provided and on the last night we would have a feast and festivities and set light to a a fire sculpture!
