Learn activities, games and tricks to encourage music making in the outdoors with all ages. The day will explore patterns in music using the natural world for inspiration and work with rhythms using natural materials. You will also learn how to make a simple marimba in the Woods and other musical instruments!

This workshop is aimed at KS1 and 2. It is packed with fun numerical collaborations and seriously engaging activities that explore symmetry, turning times tables into musical journeys and natural patterns into rhythms. We look at the science of string harmonies; learn stories to help carry the learning and songs to remember body percussion patterns!
