Living Willow huts and Shelters 4th December 2009- Learn how to work with living willow to create larger structures for your garden, like huts and dens for children, arches and pergolas for plants. Bushcraft course - Awakening the spark January 29-31st Westley farm is set in sensitively nurtured folds of landscape near Stroud in Gloucestershire. Not so foolish foraging April 1st Otterton Mill, Day course, 10-3pm. When the new shoots are growing it ie easy to confuse what it food, medicine or poison growing in the hedgerows. Coome along to learn what is, and what is not safe to consume!

Knife and axe skills workshop April 2nd Otterton Mill All day drop in session by donation. Learn how to safely use and effectively maintain a bushcraft knife and small axe for a multitude of tasks.

Foraging, Firemaking and Nature awareness games for families @ Harcombe, Sidmouth 23rd - 25th April This fun, family oriented course, is run in a habitat restoration project, where plantation woodland is being lovingly restored to heathland and broadleaf woodland. Come and learn, in a playful way, about edible and medicinal plants, play wide games and night games, and make fires from sparks! £200 for adults, £50 for under 16's. Accomodation and all food included. All profits to the Earth Restoration Service (a registered charity)

Foraging event - Mid Morning Munchies  Otterton Mill  10-1pm May 7th A short walk beside the beautiful river otter learning about springtime wayside nibbles - back in time for a light lunch at the Mill. £20
