Finding Natural Voice workshops for schools

Last week saw me visiting a school in West Sussex to deliver a programme of nature connection activities designed to help some of the quieter students be somewhat less reticent.

Under the guise of learning about trees and using nature to inspire music making we made blobsters, worked in pairs, in groups, met trees, interviewed tree spirits, made tree sculptures, shared in pairs, small groups, big groups, wrote and performed loops and tracks of music written with found natural objects.

It was “the best day of my life” for one of the participants!
