Not so foolish foraging April 1st Otterton Mill, Day course, 10-3pm. When the new shoots are growing it ie easy to confuse what it food, medicine or poison growing in the hedgerows. Come along to learn what is, and what is not safe to consume! £35
Knife and axe skills workshop April 2nd Otterton Mill All day drop in session by donation. Learn how to safely use and effectively maintain a bushcraft knife and small axe for a multitude of tasks.
Foraging event - Mid Morning Munchies Otterton Mill 10-1pm May 7th A short walk beside the beautiful river otter learning about springtime wayside nibbles - back in time for a light lunch at the Mill. £15
Weekend Foraging Course at Westerly Farm Nr Stroud, Glos. 7th-9th May Learn how to identify, prepare and consume at least 20 different wild edible and medicinal plants. Fire by friction Friday 18th June, Otterton Mill. Learn how to rub sticks together to make fire & make your own bowdrill set to take away with you. Price £35
Family fun day Sunday July 18th Nature awareness games, foraging fun and bushcraft activities; a playful day learning about Nature with Chris in his local environment. Bring a picnic to share. £35 for a family, £20 for an adult & child.
Storytelling evening around the fire, Otterton Mill, Saturday 25th Sept 7-9.30 Chris Holland, international storyteller, will be telling light-hearted tales and fables from around the world for all the family. Suggested donation £15 per family.
