| Chris has over 10 years of camp and camping experience. Wholeland runs its own camps, provides camping experiences for families and private groups, on their own land or elsewhere. Chris is also employed to run camps by WildWise who run Environmental Education and Training events throughout the year. Click on the link to get to their website. | ||
| What kind of camp are they? | Tailor made experiences to connect people with Nature, to help people live lightly on Mother Earth, to develop community, self esteem, self reliance and creativity through the practice of Bushcraft, Nature Awareness and Environmental Art. All camps tend to have a magical blend of playful activities, skill and craft learning, storytelling and music. | |
| What can wholeland provide? | Wholeland can provide teaching/workshop/play space and materials, a cook, organic food and cooking equipment, and a fantastic venue to have a camp if you don't have your own. You usually need to provide your own tent and sleeping bag & mat, bowl, cup and spoon. | |
| Where could we go for a camp? | Well, not Hyde park, obviously, but Chris is usually happy to travel to most places to provide you with his unique camping experiences! | |
| How much does it cost? | This depends entirely on where it is, for how long and who it is for. Its about £250 per 24 hours upwards. Call me for more of an idea and we can work something out. I am open to barter. | |
| How many people can come? | Again, it depends. On ages, camp agenda and location. However a group of 8-16 people is preferred. | |
| How do I make a booking? | Call Chris on 01395 568349 or email wholeland@lineone.net to discuss ideas and/or check availability. You will then be sent a booking form with the terms and conditions. The booking form is returned, usually with a deposit. Booking done! | |
